Is It Worth Upgrading to LED Lighting on the Gold Coast?

The short answer: yes, almost always.

LED globes use around 75–80% less energy than halogen or incandescent bulbs and last up to 25 times longer. For a typical Gold Coast home with 20 downlights, switching to LED can save $200–$400 per year in running costs. For commercial spaces with more fittings and longer operating hours, the savings are even greater.

LEDs also run cooler than halogens — reducing the fire risk that older downlight installations carried — and integrate easily with dimmers, sensors, and timers.

Adamson Electrical installs and upgrades LED lighting across residential and commercial properties on the Gold Coast, including sensor lights, outdoor and garden lighting, and full fit-outs.
